Job Description

We are seeking dynamic and detail-oriented graduates to join as Apprentice – DQA (Quality Assurance). This role offers hands-on exposure to quality assurance processes, warehouse inspections, and compliance management within a herbal product manufacturing environment.

Apprentices will work closely with QA professionals, supply chain, and warehouse teams to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to food safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in quality inspection and assurance activities for finished goods at warehouse locations.
  • Ensure compliance with GSP (Good Storage Practices) and regulatory requirements as per applicable food safety standards.
  • Perform AQL inspections and support product release processes.
  • Conduct product testing such as sensory evaluation, hardness testing, and vacuum leak testing.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams for incoming batch quality checks.
  • Prepare rejection reports and maintain proper documentation.
  • Support audit and inspection activities across warehouse and distribution locations.
  • Assist in batch release processes and maintain records in internal systems.
  • Manage retain samples and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
  • Provide support in training distribution teams on quality standards and compliance.
  • Ensure timely batch clearance and avoid delays in product release.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology / Microbiology / Chemistry / Life Sciences / Engineering or related field.
  • Strong interest in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Supply Chain operations.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Basic understanding of quality assurance and food safety systems.
  • Knowledge of inspection, testing, and compliance practices.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, emails, data entry systems).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Site-based role at warehouse and distribution locations in Pune.
  • Frequent interaction with warehouse, supply chain, and cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to audits, inspections, and real-time quality control processes.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES

  • Candidates with internship or project exposure in Quality Assurance / Food Safety / FMCG / Warehouse Operations.
  • Strong understanding of GMP / GSP practices.
  • Candidates seeking long-term career growth in Quality Assurance and Supply Chain domain.
