JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking motivated Civil Engineering graduates to join as Procurement Apprentices, supporting Construction Management (CM) discretionary spend categories. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement operations, vendor lifecycle management, contract coordination, and material sourcing within the real estate and construction industry. Apprentices will work closely with Category Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement for site-related requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support vendor lifecycle management including vendor discovery, onboarding, development, and performance assessment.

  • Assist in RFP/RFQ preparation and support tendering processes.

  • Coordinate across internal teams for contract administration (low complexity contracts).

  • Support procurement of urgent site-related materials and services such as departmental labour, plant & equipment, temporary works, security services, manpower, labour camps, etc.

  • Send enquiries to vendors and prepare comparative statements based on quotations received.

  • Coordinate and follow up with vendors for deliveries, proforma invoices, and quotations.

  • Maintain procurement documentation and records accurately.

  • Develop understanding of construction material requirements and site procurement needs.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

  • Strong interest in Real Estate / Construction / Procurement functions.


SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Basic understanding of construction materials and site requirements.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical ability for vendor comparison and cost evaluation.

  • Coordination and follow-up skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Good organizational and documentation skills.


WORK CONDITIONS

  • Office-based role with coordination exposure to project sites.

  • Interaction with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
